Find out what’s new for 2018

Missed our 2018 membership meeting? Here’s what you need to know for the coming season:

Senior Yamaha Can & Pipe will run as a combined class this season, and be scored together. For this season, tire specs for this class will be MG Reds, effective the third week of the season. Please plan to use up any other tires you may have at the beginning of the season. Contact 2-Cycle representative Don Foley at (585) 944-7684 if you are interested in joining a group tire buy that offers discounts pricing.

For 2-cycle cadet racers ages 8-12, the Yamaha Sportsman class has converted to a 2-Cycle Sportsman class that offers the option for additional motor types. This will be scored as a single class. Learn more.

New this season, pit passes for non-drivers will be priced the same on both Saturday and Sunday ($5 for members and $15 for non-members). Additionally, practice fees will be the same for both oval and road course drivers ($15 for members and $25 for non-members).  A spouse membership is for any spouse of a full paid member for $50.

Drivers are required to have both a fire extinguisher and first aid kit in the pit. Safety directors will check for these during the first weeks of the season.

You can still mail in your membership forms and payment to: Darla Frederick at 560 Middle Road, Caledonia, NY 14423.

Stay tuned for our 2018 rule book to be available soon. Let’s get ready to race!
